About Me

My photo
SuseADoodle
My name is Susan Berg, and I answer to Sue, Su or Suse, as well as Susan; actually, I'd probably even answer to "Hey, you!". My grandfather used to say, "You can call me anything, except Late For Dinner." **G** [If you are at SuseReads, be aware: I'm a very picky reader who prefers audiobooks; full of my own opinions and sometimes I gladly share them. :-) Lots of books get "read" via audiobook that I might have given up on if I was reading it via the printed word ... and very few turned out to be as "bad" as I expected (LOL) -- it was just not the book for that day but later I enjoyed it ...] Besides getting through lots and lots of books a year (because I prefer audiobooks over radio, TV, DVDs, etc.), I love needlework, photography, digital scrapbooking, cooking (when the cats are not in the kitchen to "help"), and many other creative pursuits.

Affiliate Disclosure

Just to be "up-front" and honest -- I am an affiliate with Powell's Books, Artella Land, Flip Pal, Crafter's Companion, Panstoria, Amazon (also for Audible purchases made through the Amazon site) and Abe's Books. If you visit any of those sites through the links here at the SuseReads blog, a cookie will be put on your system so that a purchase you make may be credited to me and I will earn a small commission on that sale. I appreciate your use of these links -- it helps a lot -- THANK YOU! If you click on a link to one of those sites (after you've used the link here) at another site, that site's owner will get the commission. (Just so you know ...) Have a great day and read lots! :D

Privacy Statement, Cookies & a Mini Rant --

1) I do not collect information about visitors to this site. Sometimes, however, you may be requested to leave your email address (replacing the symbols for @ and . with the written out at and dot) so I can send you a thank you gift for leaving a comment. This info will be used for no other purpose by me.

2) If you click on a link that takes you out of this blog, that site will have its own "privacy statement" over which I have no control.

3) I have set my blog to allow all commenters to leave comments -- whether registered and signed in or not. BUT, this is a huge but ...
a) Google / Blogger WILL put a cookie on your computer just for visiting this blog. Here is what they have to say about it:

"European Union laws require you to give European Union visitors information about cookies used on your blog. In many cases, these laws also require you to obtain consent.

"As a courtesy, we have added a notice on your blog to explain Google's use of certain Blogger and Google cookies, including use of Google Analytics and AdSense cookies.

"You are responsible for confirming this notice actually works for your blog, and that it displays. If you employ other cookies, for example by adding third party features, this notice may not work for you."

Well, that is what they tell me about the use of cookies -- they admit to putting cookies on computers so they can give a "better" experience and admit that includes targeting ads to you that you will be more likely to be interested in.

Sorry!

and b) when you try to leave a comment, Blogger will insist (though I do not) that you be logged in with some recognizable "profile" such as a Google+ profile or some other one.

Personally, I think this is despicable but I have no control over it. I suppose I could change blogging platforms but as I travel the Net and visit blogs -- I have not found any that do not require a profile for me to be able to leave a comment.

Again, Sorry!

With all that in mind, I truly appreciate your visit here and any comment you might leave..
